Jaton N. Wince is a distinguished engineer and visionary leader whose illustrious career has left an indelible mark on the fields of failure investigation, computational materials engineering, and mission assurance. His expertise spans an impressive array of disciplines, ranging from explosive detonation to microstructure-property constitutive modeling and beyond. Mr. Wince’s journey is a testament to unwavering dedication, a thirst for knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to national security and engineering excellence.

EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION


Mr. Wince’s educational journey provided the solid foundation upon which his illustrious career was built. He’s pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Science & Engineering from Liberty University, where his groundbreaking dissertation, titled “Internal State Variable Theory for A Unified Inorganic and Organic Multiscale Material Modeling Framework,” pushes the boundaries of materials science research. Prior to this, he earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Wince’s commitment to national security is unwavering, as reflected in his active Department of Defense Top Secret and Secret Security Clearances. His pursuit of excellence extends to numerous certifications, including those in Materials Science and Engineering, Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act, Nondestructive Testing, and ASME’s Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. These certifications underscore his dedication to professional development and upholding the highest standards in his field.

PIONEERING CAREER

Mr. Wince’s professional journey is characterized by significant achievements and leadership roles:

• Founder, President, and CEO – Scienalysis, LLC: Mr. Wince’s visionary leadership led to the establishment of Scienalysis, LLC, a pioneering engineering firm renowned for delivering advanced solutions. Scienalysis specializes in bridging cutting-edge simulations with real-world applications, cementing its reputation for excellence under his guidance.

• Director of Systems Design and Analysis Lab – T2S Solutions, LLC: Mr. Wince assumed the role of overseeing the systems analysis and design lab at T2S Solutions, LLC. Here, he played a crucial role in the rapid development and operations of spacecraft and payloads, contributing to the advancement of space technologies.

• Lead Systems Engineer – Parsons: At Parsons, Mr. Wince served as a Lead Systems Engineer, where he made significant contributions by assessing Missile Defense System capabilities and managing critical programs. His expertise ensured the reliability of missile defense systems.

• Consulting Systems Engineer/Principal Investigator – a.i. Solutions, Inc.: During his tenure at a.i. Solutions, Inc., Mr. Wince led multiple contract awards, including substantial Quality and Mission Assurance Contracts and Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support contracts. His leadership and expertise were instrumental in securing these contracts.

• Senior Engineer II – Jacobs Technology, Inc.: Mr. Wince contributed his expertise in structural dynamics and aerothermal analysis during his time at Jacobs Technology, Inc. He managed critical projects for NASA and played a role in quality audits, emphasizing precision and excellence.

• Lead Engineer/Technologist – General Electric – Aviation: Mr. Wince’s role at General Electric – Aviation involved integrating Design of Experiments (DOE) and developing advanced analysis processes. His contributions extended to managing global teams and overseeing complex Finite Element Analysis (FEA) projects.

• Mechanical Engineer – United States Air Force Research Laboratory: In his early career, Mr. Wince worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the United States Air Force Research Laboratory, where he made significant contributions to shock physics models and structural integrity.

• Safety Engineer Manager – United States Air Force Research Laboratory: Mr. Wince’s tenure as a Safety Engineer Manager saw him lead efforts to enhance safety engineering practices, resulting in the development of methods to compute the probability of fracture failure for weapons systems and technologies for Enhanced Blast Effects Protection.
